Petry, Fitzgerald & Less was founded in 1934 by Franklin Petry. The firms main office is in Porter County, Indiana. The firm serves mainly Northwest Indiana; however, fertility law is practiced throughout the State. Petry, Fitzgerald & Less is a law firm with major successes and positive work ethics. Over the years, the firm has written and probated thousands of Wills; been instrumental in reforming probate law, and become one of the few firms in the State which practice fertility law, including Surrogate-Contracts, Cryopreservation Agreements and Adoptions.

Petry, Fitzgerald & Less represents several of the largest Property Owners' Associations in the State of Indiana, including the Lakes of the Four Seasons, Shorewood Forest, Lake Dalecarlia, Salt Creek Valley Commons, and others, representing over 12,000 residents. Attorneys at Petry, Fitzgerald & Less also represent the Town of Hebron, Boone Township, Eagle Creek Township, and Porter Township. In addition, attorneys at the firm have represented the Porter County Office of Family and Children for over 30 years.

Petry, Fitzgerald & Less has a large family law practice, including all aspects of divorce, custody, and post-decree matters. The firm also has a large civil litigation practice involving contract disputes, construction law, and many other issues. Petry, Fitzgerald & Less provides Appellate services and as of March 2002, is currently 11 - 1 on appeals in the State of Indiana. Criminal defense for DUI/OWI is also practiced at Petry, Fitzgerald & Less.
